The driving force behind Harmony Across Borders’ mission is to deliver meaningful societal benefits through the power of choral singing. We want to break down the cultural and languages barriers through the common language of music, bringing together people from different countries on a common platform.

We know that music binds people together. It tackles problems of loneliness and isolation in our society, lifts the spirits and improves mental health. 

We also want to support local charities tackling poverty in the UK. Half of all proceeds from ticket sales and donations for the 2026 gala concert will benefit a local homelessness charity. We will be singing in chapels and cathedrals representing God’s House and it is fitting that we remember those who have no roof over their heads. Details of the chosen charity will be revealed following a tender process.

Harmony Across Borders wants to put on a regular series of competitions and choral initiatives which bring people together on a common platform to deliver societal benefits and celebrate female composers.

Any donations to fulfil our mission points will be changing lives for the better. Your support will help us to fund prize money, bursaries, specially commissioned test pieces, venue costs, adjudication, workshops and talks, publicity and core costs.

All donations are eligible for gift aid.
