Harmony Across Borders is the first ever international amateur choir competition
that celebrates the work of female composers and arrangers.
We welcome amateur choirs of all ages and nationalities to discover, enjoy and perform a range of female composed or arranged repertoire in the beauty of Cambridge University in this unique and prestigious international competition. Enjoy workshops, talks and concert performances as we seek to shine a light on hidden musical gems from countries around the world. Explore the dreaming spires of Cambridge and its surrounds with easy access to London; learn from acclaimed musical directors, adjudicators, authors and artists; and soak up Cambridge’s prestigious choral tradition alongside choirs from across the world.
“What a true honour and delight it is to become honorary president of this important and amazing competition encouraging, supporting and celebrating music written by women composers. We hope to celebrate our established women composers and inspire the next generation in a supportive atmosphere.
Come and join us.”
